A drawing where I was exploring the idea of falling into sleep as a movement through time and as two distinct realms tethered together through the mind. I worked on a number of these drawings entirety from life, sometimes perched in the most precarious manner on top of a chair which was on top of a small coffee table. On several occasions I nearly fell off right onto the model - not good. It's crazy I know but somehow the experience of working directly from life has always given me something I just don't get working through the machine. This drawing is available at T.H Brennen Fine Art in Scottsdale, Arizona @t.h._brennen_fine_art
